Funding Safe Neighborhoods
Arizona is the front line in the battle against drugs, crime, and human trafficking on our southern border. I have always supported legislation that would strengthen penalties against drug traffickers and human smugglers who profit from the suffering of others. From providing additional resources at the border, to increased funding for our County Sheriffs, to backing the blue to ensure our first responders have the tools and equipment to keep our communities safe, I will always stand with the men and women in uniform to protect our neighborhoods.
Fighting for Arizona Business
My family has run a local, small business for generations. As a small business owner, I understand what it means to balance a budget, support the community, and hire great people to serve our customers. As your State Senator, I have taken those business principles and applied them to my work at the Capitol: Together we have responsibly balanced the budget, passed the largest tax cut in state history, and maintained funding for a rainy day. We have increased state revenue by growing jobs and employers in our state, not by raising taxes. From innovative companies that fuel vehicles from hydrogen, to new manufacturing jobs in Pinal and Maricopa County, I am excited about the jobs we have attracted and the home-grown talent we have produced in Arizona.
Improving our Infrastructure
Road, bridges, and water - - all critical pieces to our continued success in the desert. Our farmers and families rely on water in the desert. We have passed meaningful legislation to protect our supply well into the future while keeping costs affordable, but I am committed to investing in infrastructure to move water to our district and preventing international interests and neighboring states from taking our resources. I’ve championed new funding to improve travel throughout Arizona, but most importantly worked to secure new investment to expand and improve the I-10 and other roadways that move people and products throughout our state. Businesses and families count on reliable infrastructure, from water to freeways and roads, and I will fight to make it easier to ship your products, get to work, and take your family to explore all Arizona has to offer.

Since I was first elected to the Legislature, I have fought to protect our shared Arizona values. From your 2nd Amendment right to your freedom of speech, I have stood with my colleagues to ensure the federal government doesn’t infringe on your protected rights and individual liberties. We have made great improvements to ensure Arizona’s elections are safe and secure, from enforcing voter ID laws to ensuring strangers cannot vote your ballot, I am proud to bring meaningful updates to protect your vote. As a life-long Conservative, I have protected life and will continue to stand up for family values.
